The #WhatTheFanta campaign was designed to reveal clues, encourage fan engagement, and ultimately announce Fanta’s new mystery flavor.
Product Launch
Once Fanta’s new soda hit shelves, we took to social to announce the release and encourage fans to start guessing the mystery flavor.
Influencer Partners
We partnered with gaming influencers throughout the campaign. They upped the hype with their own social posts, including videos of them unboxing our swanky #WTFanta PR packages.
Flavor Clues Game
We released a #WTFanta AR game to help fans collect mystery flavor clues. Collecting ? symbols — and avoiding fruit asteroids — unlocked our hints.
Multiverse of Flavor & Reveal
For the big finale, we created a one-of-a-kind Fanta video game: Multiverse of Flavor. On reveal day, our gaming influencers went live on Twitch as they attempted to beat the game; when they conquered the final level, they were rewarded with the identity of the mystery flavor: Orange Cream.
